Founded in 1963 and with operations in 32 countries, we are a leader in two large and growing markets: Car-as-a-Service for new cars, through our LeasePlan business; and the high-quality used car market, through our CarNext.com business. We also have an online (savings only) retail bank, LeasePlan Bank, which operates in the Netherlands and Germany, and which is an important source of funding for our business. In our core Car-as-a-Service business, we purchase, fund and manage new vehicles for our corporate and private individual customers, providing a complete end-to-end service for a typical contract duration of three to four years. We aim to achieve net zero tailpipe emissions from our funded fleet of 1.4 million vehicles by 2030 by transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles.
